Inspired by the legacy of Jack Broughton, also known as the "Father of Boxing," an 18th-century pioneer who helped shape the modern sport of boxing, we carry forward his quiet strength and integrity into everything we do.

Jack Broughton: The Champion
Jack Broughton’s story is one of grit, brilliance, and reinvention. Born into hardship, he began his journey rowing a taxi boat on the London Thames. A working man with nothing but strength and ambition. He fought his way to the top, becoming the undefeated bareknuckle champion of 18th century England, feared and respected across the country.
But Broughton wasn’t just a fighter, he was a visionary. He opened Britain’s first boxing academy and introduced the historic Broughton Rules, bringing structure, safety, and integrity to a brutal sport. He turned violence into discipline, chaos into craft.
Later in life, he became a successful antiques dealer, a gentleman of means, and a symbol of self made greatness. Known as The Pugilist, he was laid to rest in Westminster Abbey, a rare honour for a man who began with nothing but his fists and his fire.
